Until now, the standard therapy for the treatment of relapses in the patient's suffering from RRMS has been corticosteroid pulse therapy that is known to cause severe adverse events especially if used often and over a long period of time. During the clinical phase II and III studies Enkorten was shown to be an excellent therapy for the treatment of relapses without the need for the corticosteroid use and hospitalisation of patients.
