New Approach to the Treatment of RRMS
Enkorten therapy is a new approach to the treatment of RRMS. Uniqueness of this therapy is in the ability of Enkorten to be disease modifying treatment in the doses of three times a week and a relapse treatment by application for three consecutive days, which is evidence of an effective substitution to standard corticosteroid pulse therapy.
Dosing regiment as a relapse treatment medication depends on the severity of the relapse state. In the case of a very severe relapse application of Enkorten for three consecutive days is followed by application of Enkorten every other day for up to 10 days.
Enkorten consist of the combination of two neuropeptides that are known not to cause any serious adverse events during application. Great safety profile was maintained during the animal and clinical studies and with that Enkorten has taken a privileged place as a unique medication belonging to the disease modifying treatments and relapse treating medication without appearance of serious adverse events.
